The   Buckhannon   City   Police  have    several  patrol  divisions designed to protect and serve the community. Click on the link provided  to  learn more about each of these highly specialized divisions.

• Investigations Division - This division focuses on safety and crime prevention, as well as various forms of theft.
   
• Bicycle Patrol Division - Combining mobility and efficiency led to the development of the Bicycle Patrol division.  Officers are able to complete traditional “beat officer” tasks and interact with the public.
   
• SWAT Division - Utilized only in extreme situations, our Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team is always ready to respond and protect the residents of Buckhannon.
   
• Traffic Division - Concentrating on traffic enforcement and safety, the traffic division maintains safe streets for the city of Buckhannon.
